Downtime on ”Pear” Station server

Resolved

Reason For Outage (RFO)

The DNS server associated with pear.radio.co failed to respond at 19:29UTC on July 13th. This caused updates from our platform to cease which may have resulted in some stations playing radio silence.

After an investigatory period, our DevOps team were able to restore service around 19:55UTC.

To reduce the likelihood of this happening again we have linked additional DNS servers to our station servers to offer additional redundancy in the event of a failure.

Resolved

Our monitoring software has detected the station server is back online. This incident has now been closed.

Thanks.
